Design Bindings are typically photo albums and journals which are custom-made using ideas supplied by the person who will eventually possess the book. I also create my own designs for sale on these pages. Designs are created with leather onlays and blind tooling (applying a heated brass tool to wet leather). Large photo albums are usually 9"x12" with 40 acid free pages but custom sizes and pages are also available. Small photo albums hold one 4"x6" photo per page and have 40 acid free pages. Photographs are attached by use of photo corners or double-sided tape. Albums come with a cloth box. Leather boxes can be created for an extra cost.
Shipping is handled through the United States Post Office. Shipping rates for "Design Bindings" are a flat fee of $15.00 for items shipped within the United States. Please contact Selkie Bindery for international shipping rates.
